Crimestoppers stickers are being placed in marked police cars in order to raise awareness of the charity.
About 250 of the stickers advertising the anonymous telephone line are being put onto the rear windscreens of marked Northamptonshire Police cars.

Graham Crow, Fleet Engineering Manager at Northamptonshire Police, said: "The stickers are currently being placed on the left hand side of rear windscreens of all of our marked cars.

"People will see the sticker and it will, hopefully, jog their memories about Crimestoppers.

"This will hopefully boost the amount of calls to the anonymous Crimestoppers line and gives people an alternative number to call.

"We know that some people have information about crime or criminals but don't always want to speak to the Police or give their name."

You can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 and you can also call the Force's non-emergency number on 08453 700700.
