Corby man's skull fractured in racist attack

A Chinese man will need surgery after his skull was fractured during a racially-motivated assault.
Police officers are appealing for information about the incident that left the 38-year-old in Kettering General Hospital with head injuries.
They believe the serious assault was racially-aggravated.
The attack happened at 11.40pm on Tuesday when a fight between six or seven men broke out near to the Rockingham Arms pub in Studfall Avenue, Corby.
The victim was attacked and kicked by two men. Another Chinese man, who was with the victim, was racially abused.
A 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Corby, have been arrested and are in custody at Corby police station.
