He is aiming to raise more than £3,000 for Leukaemia Research in memory of his wife Christine, who lost her battle against the disease in 1985, aged 26.
He will be doing the challenge on the 170m artificial slope in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshi
re, skiing down the slope, then using the lifts to go back to the top.
And he'll continue doing the same thing for a staggering 30 hours.
Mr Hague said: "I hope she would be proud of me.
"She would have whinged at me for doing it to start with but then she would have been proud.
"I will be doing the ski-ing solo and haven't quite worked out how I'm going to do it.
"All her friends always remember the day she died in April and always wish me well. She is never forgotten."
At the minute he is aiming to improve his general fitness through working out three or four times a week and he plans to have some ski-ing training closer to the marathon on July 31, from 10am.
The 50-year-old, of Saxon Rise, Irchester, says this could be his hardest challenge yet for the charity as he is starting to feel 'old and decrepit'.
Over the years Mr Hague has raised £8,500 for the charity through a 24-hour ski-ing marathon and running the London Marathon.
The money he raises will go towards research treatments for leukaemia.
