Attempted knife robbery in Corby

A man armed with a knife tried to take cash from a shop assistant in Corby.
The man, who was white, aged 20 to 25-years-old, about 5ft 5in, of medium build with a pierced left eyebrow, went into the McColls shop in Farmstead Road, Corby, on Wednesday evening, and demanded
cash.

He stood in the queue to be served sometime between 6.50m and 7.10pm before asking the cashier for cigarettes.

He demanded cash from the cashier, showing a small knife, before leaving empty-handed.

He fled in the direction of Selsey Road.

He wore a white and black patterned wool hat that had ear flaps as well as a blue scarf, dark jacket, jeans and white trainers.
