Assault and criminal damage in Corby

Police officers are appealing for information after an incident in Lynton Grove in Corby.
At about 8.45pm on Thursday, May 8, a man approached the 39-year-old disabled victim in Lynton Grove and assaulted him.

The offender then damaged a Ford Fiesta which was parked in the same street.

Police are appealing for a man who tried to stop the assault to come forward.

The offender was white, in his early twenties, about 5ft 9ins and of average build with a shaved head. He wore a red t-shirt and black tracksuit bottoms.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire police on 08453 700700 - alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
