Police are appealing for information following an arson in the Knox Road area of Wellingborough in the early hours of Monday.
Sometime between 1.15am and 2.45am a Ford Transit van containing wooden pallets was set alight. The van was destroyed completely and surrounding vehicles, properties and fences were also damaged, including a Vauxhall Astra and Citroen Xsara.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in this part of Wellingborough during the early hours of Monday.

They would particulary like to speak to anyone who may have seen two teenagers in the area. Both were male, white, one wore a blue peaked cap and jacket, and slightly taller than the other. They both ran through an alley way between Knox Road and Palk Road.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire police on 08453 700700 - alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
