Armed robbery at Corby business

Police are today appealing for information following an armed robbery at a clearance bargains warehouse in Cronin Road, Corby, on Monday night.
Four offenders gained entry to the premises at 8pm on Monday 18 August and forced their way into the cash office with a sledge hammer and knuckle bar. The offenders made off with an unknown quantity of cash.

Members of staff were inside the premises but were not injured during the incident.

All four of the offenders wore dark clothing, including balaclavas and gloves. Three made off in a stolen BMW 5 series which was later found abandoned in Fermyn Woods.

The fourth offender made off on a red and black off-road motorcycle.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any knowledge of it.
