Alice, 13, enjoys a brush with success
A teenager has proved she is a cut above the rest when it comes to grooming the locks of your prize pooch.
Alice Weston, 13, of Shearwater Lane, Wellingborough came first in the grooming competition as part of Birmingham National Dog Show.
Her success at the event, which took place at Stafford Show Ground on Saturday, means Alice has now qualified for Crufts 2009.
The youngster has only been grooming dogs for six months after getting started by taking a grooming course at Spoiled 4 Choice dog groomers in College Street, Wellingborough.
Alice said: "I'm very pleased to have qualified for Crufts and I'm very excited about taking part.
"I want to thank everyone at Spoiled 4 Choice who taught me everything I know."
