Step out for scenic walk

Wrap up warm and enjoy a walk in the fresh air at Twywell Hills and Dales, near Kettering.

There is a number of waymarked trails and routes to follow, as well as signposted routes leading to nearby villages.

For those who want a gentle stroll, the whitestone trail is just one mile and will take about 40 minutes, while the gulley and woodland trail is two-and-a-half miles and will take about one hour and 40 minutes to complete.

Twywell Hills and Dales is monitored by the Wildlife Trust because of the abundance of wildlife there.

There is a car park and picnic tables at Twywell Hills and Dales but no visitor centre or toilets.

It can be found just off the A14 near Cranford.
