Relax in the best seats in the house

A cinema is to be fitted with new digital equipment and better seating for film-goers this summer.
Odeon Cinema, in Pegasus Court, Kettering, has been selected as the next cinema of the UCI company to be fully fitted with new digital projectors and improved luxury seating.
The cinema currently has four of its eight screens installed with digital projectors, which replace the old format of 35mm film reels, and work based upon hard-drive technology.
Projectors of this type cost upwards of £30,000 each and provide higher resolution of viewing and enhanced sound processing, with added 3D capabilities.
Odeon Leicester is the most recent cinema to be upgraded, with the larger seats and linoleum floors which Kettering Odeon will also be given during the refurbishment.
The new premier seats are designed to allow for maximum comfort and legroom so viewers can stretch out and fully enjoy the film.
Justin Betts, a manager of Odeon Kettering, said: “We wish to provide guests with exceptional comfort, visual advances and an experience that only a cinema can provide.”
Film fan Ryan Button said: “I am looking forward to what the new upgrades can provide as I go to the cinema quite often.”
The cinema is expected to be fully fitted between June and September.
