Elephant bring happy memories
Kentucky quintet Cage The Elephant return to the county next week.
Having burst onto the scene last year with hits including Ain't No Rest For the Wicked and In One Ear, the boys from the Deep South have been busy working on their second album.
At the end of last year they played at the first Little Noise Sessions Union Chapel show alongside The Killers, Glasvegas and White Lies.
Back in September, singer Matt Shultz exchanged witty banter with Stephen Fry on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and the band performed on the Later with Jools Holland show alongside Coldplay.
Last year also saw Cage The Elephant play Manchester's Xfm's Winter Wonderland, before they headed off to Europe.
They have recently been back in their home town writing and recording for their hotly-anticipated second album and are sure to be on top of
their game when they return this month.
Expect the usual chaos, crowd surfing and singalong anthems, along with a host of new material guaranteed to get the crowds going.
Cage The Elephant play the Northampton Roadmender on Wednesday.
Tickets cost 10 and doors open at 7pm. For more information visit www.myspace.com/cagetheelephant.
