Kevin McCullagh abseiled from the lift tower in Northampton to raise cash for Chelsea’s Angels.
Mr McCullagh, who lives in Rushden, completed the daring fundraiser from the 450ft lift tower on January 14.
His efforts raised around £165 for the charity.
He said: “It was OK, I had done it before but not there.
“It was a good experience, we had a really good day to do it.
“I got a lot of support from AJ’s Diner and Koru on the Leyland Trading Estate in Wellingborough, and from friends and neighbours, so thank you to all of them.”
Chelsea’s Angels was set up in memory of Irthlingborough three-year-old Chelsea Knighton, who died in 2009 after fighting cancer. The charity works to help children with neuroblastoma and rare cancers.
