Keen bowlers and fun-seeking friends can do their bit for charity by attending a fundraising night at AMF Bowl in Wellingborough.

The event is being held on Friday, March 23, in aid of Sports Relief.

Families and groups of friends can hire a lane at the venue on the night with all proceeds going to the Sports Relief campaign.

People interested in attending are encouraged to book tickets in advance.

Organiser Dave Jones, 48, of Rushden, said he was putting on the event because he wanted to do something for the charity.

He said: “I would urge people to buy tickets as soon as possible.

“There has been a fair bit of interest from people wanting to buy tickets already.

“I would urge people to come for a night out with friends because lanes need to be booked in multiples of six.”

The event is due to take place from 8pm until midnight.

Tickets are £18.50 per person, or £111 for a lane for six people.

To book tickets for the event contact Mr Jones on 07715 621267.
