A mufti day will be held to help raise money towards life-saving treatment for a child.
The event has been organised to help contribute to the Niamh’s Next Step appeal, which aims to raise £450,000 to treat brave Niamh Curry’s aggressive neuroblastoma cancer. It has been organised by Charlotte Nash, a neighbour of the Curry family in Wellingborough, and will take place on March 2.
She said: “Niamh is the same age as my son and it brings it home how easily it could have been me in their position. It’s a colossal amount so I’m dedicating as much time as I can to helping her.”
Companies are invited to take part and, at Tingdene Homes in Wellingborough, directors have pledged to match the funds staff raise on the day. Companies can join in by calling Charlotte on 07790 154079.
