Police have confirmed the death of a man found in public toilets in Kettering was not suspicious.
Public toilets at Market Square in Kettering were sealed off by police this morning after reports a body had been found. A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "We were called out at about 7.15am this morning to toilets in Sheep Street after the body of a man was found in the toilet.

"At the moment the death is being treated as unexplained and investigations continue."

A number of people who had been attending a breakfast meeting of the Federation of Small Businesses at the George Hotel across the road found their cars were trapped in the sealed-off car park when they returned.

Shelley Pearson was among them and said: "When I parked up in the car park at about 7.15am, I saw two men attending to another man in the car park.

"They were trying to stir him and were trying to wake him up."
Officers started letting people get their cars from the car park just after 9am.

A newsagent in the area, who did not wish to be named, said: "One of my customers came in and asked us what was going on.

"Then I saw police outside and an ambulance.

"The police started sealing off the area. I didn't know what was going on."

Officers remain at the scene.
