Get lost in a maize maze at Oundle this summer which is now open to the public.
The 10-acre crop of maize is mapped out on a computer aided design and the paths are then hoed out by hand to create the maze walls.

This year the design is a tiger and the theme of the quiz located in the maize is ancient civilisations.

There are also raised bridges and look-out towers to view the scenic surroundings of the maize. Flags on canes are given to families so that they can wave them if they get lost and they are also given a brochure which gets stamped in the maize at all the ten quiz boards located within.

When you have successfully completed the maize you can enjoy picnic tables and refreshments. There are also football games, go carts, giant Jenga, floor mazes, rope mazes and other ball games.

The maze is open now until September 1, seven days a week from 10am to 6pm. Admission is £4 for children, £5 for adults and a family ticket is £16. For more information visit www.oundlemaze.co.uk.
