Wellingborough Town's under-18 side endured a disappointing day in the Umbro International Tournament.
In their first game the young Doughboys went down to a 2-0 defeat to Middleton.

They were then involved in a controversial game against Macclesfield Town in which defender Ryan Lee was shown a straight red card after an altercation with a Silkmen attacker. He was swiftly followed by manager
Steve Whitney for his comments to the official.

With 10 minutes remaining Wellingborough were undone when another controversial decision brought the only goal from the penalty spot.

Rothwell Town drew 2-2 at home to Shepshed Dynamo last night with goals from Justin McKenzie and Fazel Koriya (penalty).
