Rothwell Corinthians have their best chance yet to open their Eagle Bitter UCL Premier Division account when they face Potton United at home tomorrow.
Corinthians are still bottom of the table after their midweek loss to Daventry Town made it three defeats in a row.

But, having started life in the top flight with games against three of the current top six, Corinthians at last get the chance to face one of their fellow-strugglers.

Potton, like Corinthians, are still looking for their first point having lost both their opening games.

"We are improving all the time and learning from our mistakes," said assistant manager Andy Pawluk.

"Our performance in midweek was very good – even if the result didn't go our way.

"But tomorrow looks a much more even game as they are down there with us."

Corinthians are also boosted by having experienced trio Tony Ielapi, Kev Fox and Ben Johnson back in their ranks.

But Andy White, Dan Morris and Luke Bewers are all still unavailable.
Rothwell Corinthians from: Sheridan, Torrance, Deacon, Dunn, B Johnson, Campion, Singh, Ielapi, Matt Coles, Briffa, Michael Coles, Roberts, Cooper, Stewart, Judge, Fox.
