Captain Curtis Woodhouse serves a one-match suspension for Saturday's trip to old rivals Kidderminster Harriers after being sent off in their first defeat of the Blue Square Premier season against Histon at Nene Park on Monday.

Right-winger Lee Tomlin starts a three-game ban for his red card which also rules him out of Tuesday's long trek to Barrow and the home game with Crawley Town the following weekend.

Striker Daryl Clare, back in the gym during his recovery from a broken jaw, has been joined in the treatment-room by midfielder Marcus Kelly and central defender Phil Gulliver.

Kelly suffered a broken nose just a few minutes after coming on as a half-time substitute against Histon in his 150th appearance for Diamonds.

Gulliver has not yet returned from a knock which forced him off in the opening home game with Ebbsfleet United. But he could be back in the squad at Aggborough.

Diamonds boss Hill said:"We are definitely without Tomlin, Woodhouse and Clare.

"There are still a few walking wounded out there. Over the next 24 hours we will have a look at which players are available."

Hill, meanwhile, admitted he still feels angry over the performance of referee Russell Fletcher in the Bank Holiday defeat.

But he conceded: "We've got no complaints about the red cards – just the balance of play and what happened.

"Everybody inside the ground will have their own views and I don't want to get myself into any trouble by saying anything else."
