Roberts returns to Diamonds

Rushden & Diamonds have re-signed Dale Roberts from Nottingham Forest on a one-month loan.

The goalkeeper is a familiar face to Diamonds fans after making 19 appearances last season, including the Setanta Shield final against Aldershot Town.

Roberts also spent the whole 2006/07 season on loan at Conference North side Alfreton Town.

He will provide extra cover if needed following an injury to Alan Marriott in Monday night's 1-1 draw against Altrincham. Roberts has been allocated squad number 19.
