Medical practice workers on the Lloyds estate dressed in green to raise cash for a cancer charity.
Twenty workers at the Studfall Medical Centre, in Studfall Court, turned up for work dressed in Macmillan Cancer Support colours and each brought in £1 for the dress down day on Friday.

Practice manager Vanessa Hurling said: "We also had a cake sale and everyone brought cakes in made with green icing to sell to patients.

"We had a raffle with the grand prize of an extra day's holiday, which was very popular."

Staff raised £124 as part of the national day of action.
