A bin store at a block of flats was badly damaged after it was set alight by arsonists.
The fire broke out at flats in Culross Walk, Corby, at about 10.35pm yesterday.

Two fire crews from Corby attended the blaze, which caused severe damage to the bin store.

A spokesman for the fire service said it is believed the fire was started deliberately.

The blaze follows a series of incidents in Culross Walk in recent months.

In March firefighters were called to the road three times in one night for separate bin fires.

Earlier that week firefighters had to rescue a man from his home after rubbish was set alight in the hallway of a block of flats, filling the building with smoke

Last month the Evening Telegraph reported that people were being asked for their help to catch arsonists responsible for bin fire.

Mick Rodden, of the arson task force, said at the time: "We are asking people to make a note of anyone they see behaving suspiciously and to be vigilant and record any suspicious activity they see. These things together can help the police to secure a conviction."
