Young musicians planted an oak tree to say thank you to their community for its support.

Corby mayor Gail McDade attended the ceremony on the Oakley Vale estate, Corby, on Tuesday.

Members of Oakley Rangers, formed in 2008 to offer free music lessons and other activities to young people on the estate, wanted to thank residents for their backing. As well as planting trees, they have taken part in litter picks.
