The Steelmen’s new business club held its first meeting this week and it gave members a chance to chat over breakfast.

The club, launched by Corby Town this week, is for companies which support The Steelmen.

Its first meeting was on Wednesday when Paul Glass, implementation manager for the away shirt sponsors Echo Personnel, and Janice Watkins, project leader at Enterprise Coaching, were the guest speakers.

Steelmen director Chris Rivett said: “The club has raised plenty of interest and we’re very positive about the opportunities for the group. We would like to thank businesses for getting behind this new venture.”

The aim of the club is to provide a networking opportunity for companies who support the club.
