A director of a Northampton-based company has won a business award in her native Portugal.
Isabel Melo, who co-founded Mentaur, a service for adults with learning disabilities, was recognised by the Portuguese government as the most successful entrepreneur in a foreign country.

The award, Premio Talento Empresarial, was one of 12 Premios Talento prizes handed out to Portuguese nationals who become experts abroad at a special gala ceremony in Lisbon.

Mentaur, which also celebrated its 20th anniversary on June 8, provides support workers and residential care in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Leicestershire.
