Hellidon Lakes gets AA hotel award

A big purple party bus was in Daventry this week to celebrate QHotels being named the AA Hotel Group of the Year.
The Hellidon Lakes Golf and Spa hotel is one of 21 properties that the bus is visiting over the next week to thank all the group's staff.
The AA Award is presented to the hotel group that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to improving and developing its individual hotels, while maintaining brand consistency across the group.
Managing director of QHotels, Michael Purtill, said: "We are absolutely delighted with this recognition. As a group we have made a massive commitment to improving and developing our properties, investing just under £60million in the past year and almost £150million across the whole portfolio."
