£30,000-plus raised from dragonboat day

More than £30,000 has been raised for charity from a dragonboat race on the River Nene in Northampton.
Organised by Northampton Rotary Club and sponsored by Allied Irish Bank (GB) the annual Dragonboat Race, held at Midsummer Meadows on July 20, was a great success.

The £30,000 will be donated to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) and Northampton Young Carers.
